The architecture design highlights Muslims praying towards Makkah and their rotation around "Al Kabaa" during their pilgrimage, as being strongly in harmony with many other behavioral patterns in the universe, including the micro rotation of electrons in an atom, and the macro rotation of moon around earth, and planets around the sun, and the sun around the galaxy. Our philosophy is that the cycle continues, where the universe rotates around God, thus everything is in rotational path around God, the ultimate center and source of all energies. This philosophy also resonates with Muslims holy text saying (كُلٌّ فِي فَلَكٍ يَسْبَحُونَ) “All in a path locomote” and (لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِٱللَّٰهِ)‎ “There is no power or strength but from God”.

The design concept has been developed as an endeavor to establish a new - universal rather than traditional - architectural language for the core principles of the Muslim faith that is in full harmony with the whole cosmos, and foster a common ground for peace, love and unity.

The design was proposed as part of an international design competition organized by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). The proposed design consists of 3 stories connected through a circulative ramp (Interior & Exterior). The ground floor occupies a large prayer hall that can accommodate 300 worshipers. The second floor contains a library for men and another for women, a meeting room and other community spaces, while the second floor occupies the women’s prayer hall for 150 worshipers. All floors includes common spaces, ablutions and bathrooms.
